Lisa Bentley 11x IRONMAN Champion

Ironman Mont-Tremblant and Lake Placid Success Camp on Muskoka 70.3 Course with Lisa Bentley

Eleven-time Ironman Champion, Lisa Bentley and triathlon coach, David Cracknell, would like to invite you to the 2012 Ironman Mont-Tremblant and Ironman Lake Placid Success Camp on the Muskoka 70.3 course – June 8th to 10th.  This camp will focus on athletes who are preparing for an upcoming Ironman event such as IM MT or IM LP but don’t want to drive 7 hours to train on those specific courses. The Muskoka 70.3 course gives us the hills that we need to perfectly prepare for both the Tremblant and Lake Placid courses but on the quiet country roads of Muskoka and only 2.5 hours from Toronto. We will also have shorter training options for athletes training specifically for Subaru Ironman 70.3 Muskoka or for Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant. We will follow up this camp with a meeting at the Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant on June 23rd, to answer your specific last minute course questions and do a short swim, bike and run to prepare for race day.

If you are interested in educating yourself about racing Ironman or Ironman 70.3, this camp will make your Ironman experience successful. Lisa’s on course mental, tactical and nutritional expertise will be shared and then practiced during the hands-on portion of the camp by swimming, biking and running on the challenging Muskoka roads! For Lake Placid competitors, the timing of this camp is perfect for one of your last long rides and runs.  For Ironman Mont-Tremblant or Subaru IMC athletes, it might be one of your first long training weekends. Regardless, the fine-tuning of your mental, tactical and nutritional needs can be practiced for the weeks prior to your event.  The knowledge can be applied to any Ironman and might be the deciding factor when signing the Ironman entry form. Lisa and Dave both have first hand knowledge of all of the courses – Ironman Mont-Tremblant, Ironman Lake Placid, Subaru Ironman Canada and Muskoka 70.3.

Join eleven-time Ironman champion, Lisa Bentley and triathlon pioneer, David Cracknell and their experienced support crew for a successful Iron Distance training experience.

Here is a testimonial from our Subaru Success Camp IMC

“Lisa and Dave’s camp was simply the best investment I made in my preparation for IMC. They provided invaluable advice on all aspects of Ironman training – both generally and specifically related to IMC.  Sport by sport, Lisa reviewed her approach in both training and racing the actual course.  The supported ride and run was a great opportunity to experience the course as it will be on race day.  With the group being very small, Lisa and Dave had the opportunity to observe our strengths and weaknesses and give us individual feedback!  Lisa and Dave were always available for questions and personal discussions. It was wonderful to experience first hand Lisa’s enthusiasm and optimism, the “can do” attitude that she is so famous for.  Lisa and Dave really put her heart into this camp and worked really hard for us.  It was extraordinarily motivating and made the weekend a lot of fun. Lisa’s down to earth personality created an instant feeling of camaraderie in the group and Dave and her make a great team.  I enjoyed the camp immensely, found it incredibly useful and would highly recommend it to anyone.

    Hi Lisa,

I’m very interested in information about your training camp in June/10. Will the 2010 camp be offered in Muskoka again, and will the training be focused on the Ironman distance, like the June/09 camp was?

I raced both the Muskoka Chase in June and the Muskoka Ironman 70.3 last weekend. I saw you there at both events – you were absolutely amazing! A definate highlight of the weekend was seeing you fly by on the run (as you passed me going the opposite direction! I was on my way out while you were on your way back!). I was wishing I had your running legs at that point!

You are an inspiration to us all Lisa. Go Canada Go!

I am interested in your Muskoka Camp do you think this will be a good tune-up for the Peterborough half Iron Man, this is my first time attempting this distance so little nervous I maybe slow for the group?

First timers are perfect for our camp – there is lots of information being shared and so you will have a lot to gain! We have a 70 km bike loop as well as the standard 96 km bike course in case anyone needs a little shorter ride and athletes can run any distance on the course – everyone is supported 100%!!! Lots of motivation and information and fun – that is the order of the weekend!
